Founded in 1957 by Mr. Leon Borgers, Hotel La Legende was originally situated in Rue de l’Etuve in Brussels. First operating as a cafe, it was known by stamp collectors as a familiar gathering place. During the nineties, as Brussels was expanding culturally and economically, Hotel La Legende settled down Rue du Lombard, where its current reputation took root. The management of Hotel La Legende has been overseen by three generations for half a century.
